Nice gentle first try, try putting more « juice » into Gurtha next time, I’m sure that’s all it’s waiting for, and you’ll discover stuff you never suspected.

But I also know you gotta take it easy with a wooden didgeridoo when it’s new, you’re right to be careful with it and let it adjust to its new environment (temperature, humidity..) you’re part of its new environment too with the heat, pressure and moisture from your breath.
So you’re right, take it slow. :slight_smile:

I don’t have an AirDidge but the toots should definitely come out easier on it. You’ll need to figure out how to get them out properly on Gurtha. But no doubt you’ll nail it, you’re almost there already.

It’s mostly a reproducibility issue. When Marion got back from shopping, I played her the rhythm and the toots came out perfect. Now I’ve re-recorded it about ten times, nothing. I decided to publish it anyway.

On the Air Didge it came out better, yeah. But here they sound way better (actually, everything sounds way better).

I just need to find my groove again, and let myself go with what it’s got to offer :wink:

Yeah, listening to your didgeridoo is important. You shouldn’t force it to do something it doesn’t want to do, you need to listen to it to understand what it wants. I’m exaggerating a bit of course, but not that much. :laughing:
